Vermont State Police responded to a fatal crash at 3:26 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 302 amid wet and heavy snow across the region.
Police reported that the 78-year-old driver from Berlin lost control of their vehicle due to the weather, causing the car to fishtail and cross the double yellow line before colliding with another vehicle. The driver of the other car sustained minor injuries.
