Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo are set to be recalled to the England squad for this month's friendly matches against Uruguay and Japan.
Defender Maguire has not been included in any of head coach Thomas Tuchel's squads since he took charge on 1 January 2025, despite being a key player during Gareth Southgate's tenure with the national team.
The 33-year-old, who has earned 64 caps for England, has received widespread praise for his performances amid Manchester United's improved Premier League form and their push for Champions League qualification.
Both Maguire and midfielder Mainoo, 20, have not represented England since 2024.
They fell out of favour at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim but have regained their places following Michael Carrick's appointment.
Tuchel is expected to announce his squad at 11:00 GMT for the upcoming matches at Wembley against Uruguay on 27 March and Japan on 31 March.
